Can't wait

I can't wait for these to arrive from Shutterfly! I used Heather Ann's templates and then her coupon code. What a great deal that was. I ordered a whole pile of them- thanks Heather and Shutterfly! Now I just have to get my CD photos printed and a few photo books and I'll be set. Oh! And my christmas cards too :)  I keep meaning to take our family portrait each weekend and then we get so busy with birthday parties, gatherings, activities and working on the basement that before I know it the weekend has come and gone. I MUST get it done this weekend. :)

I've got a few new goodies up over in the store this week as well. Two of them are done but just aren't loaded yet so watch for them soon. There was a snag getting them ready to go but they should be up within a day or two. I am excited to get all my photos into the filmstrip template. I think it would be really fun to have framed and up on the wall and then make a new one each year! How fun would that be? I'm going to keep my eye out for a 12 by 12 frame- anyone know of a good place to find them?

Busy making gifts!

I am in photo assembly mode most days trying to get everything ready. I LOVE to give photo gifts for Christmas from calendars to mouse pads to mugs to books etc... Shutterfly will be my one stop shop this year too- love that!  I'm trying to get it all assembled and then I'll upload within the next week and call it done- YAY!!  Goodness I love that company :)  Thanks Shutterfly!

I recently did a page for Digital Scrapbooking magazine and used a filmstrip in my layout. The filmstrip is not in any of my kits at TwoPeas as I made it just for my page. Apples!

My mother-in-law brought 40lbs of apples with her when they came for Canadian Thanksgiving. Needless to say we have been cooking with apples almost non-stop. I love that I can put the box on the deck and they stay fresh for so long! We are just finishing up a recipe book project over at TwoPeas and of course I did two apple recipes! :)  I thought I'd share them here as they are yummy!  The crisp has cranberries in it (optional) and I love love love it on a fall evening. I also have a pork chop apple recipe that I still need to scrap :)
